Quality Updates for Trull House Stud Dispersal – January Sale

The 2018 Goffs UK January Sale at Doncaster will feature a 25-lot dispersal from Mr Richard Kelvin-Hughes’ Trull House Stud and the onset of the NH season has already produced some significant updates to the high-class draft.

To be consigned under Mill House Stud and Little Lodge Farm, the draft of 25 fillies and mares represent some of the best NH families in the stud book and will all be sold without reserve. The dispersal will include the broodmare Hora and her two daughters, an Authorized foal and a Fame And Glory 2YO, all of which received a significant update courtesy of THOMAS CAMPBELL who is raced by Kelvin-Hughes and trained by Nicky Henderson. Out of Hora, Thomas Campbell is unbeaten in two Cheltenham starts this season, his most recent at Listed level where he won a Handicap Hurdle, and carries an entry for the Gr.1 Stayers’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival. Hora was covered by Kayf Tara in April.

Further updates came last week with another Nicky Henderson trained, Kelvin-Hughes owned runner in the highly promising Santini who won his debut under rules, a Novice Hurdle at Newbury, following a victory on his only Point-to-Point start in March. The Racing Post commented on his Newbury win that he’s “still raw and not the finished article” but “galloped on strongly and should make quite a chaser in time.” The dispersal will offer Santini’s dam Tinagoodnight, also the dam of the Gr.2 placed Dusky Legend, as well as her Walk In The Park foal and High Chaparral 2YO. Tinagoodnight was covered by Pour Moi in June.
