37 Lots Confirmed for Thursday’s Goffs UK December P2P Sale at Yorton Farm

The final catalogue for this Thursday’s Goffs UK December P2P Sale at Yorton Farm in Wales is now online and features 19 new entries taken over the weekend, taking the total catalogue to 37 high-class horses.

The Goffs UK December P2P Sale will be held at 12 noon on Thursday 17 December and Yorton will open for inspections at 12 noon on Wednesday. Recent point-to-point meetings in Ireland, particularly Boulta and Stradbally on Sunday, have produced some smart entries which will be offered later this week:

• Lot 4, Imperial Hope (4YO G by Imperial Monarch), winner of his debut P2P for Tom Keating at Stradbally.
• Lot 10, Ozzie Man (4YO G by Ask), winner of his debut P2P for Cormac Doyle at Stradbally.
• Lot 14, Queens River (4YO F by Kayf Tara), winner of her debut P2P for Aidan Fitzgerald at Boulta.
• Lot 26, Getaway Lily Bear (4YO F by Getaway), placed second to Queens River on her debut P2P for John Staunton at Boulta.
• Lot 28, Grain de Folie (4YO G by Balko), placed second to Ozzie Man on his most recent P2P for Sean Doyle at Stradbally.
• Lot 29, Setme Straightmate (4YO G by Malinas), the 12-length winner of his debut P2P for James Doyle at Boulta.  
• Lot 31, Planned Paradise (4YO G by Westerner), placed a close second on his debut P2P for Cormac Doyle at Stradbally.
• Lot 32, Here Comes The Man (5YO G by Flemensfirth), the 10-length winner of his debut P2P for Colin Bowe at Boulta.
• Lot 33, Glancing Glory (4YO F by Presenting), winner of her most recent P2P for Donal Barry at Boulta.
• Lot 34, Benny's Oscar (5YO G by Oscar), winner of his most recent P2P for Peter Flood at Stradbally.
• Lot 35, Dazzling Glory (5YO M by Califet), the 12-length winner of her most recent P2P for Michael Murphy at Stradbally.
• Lot 36, Yenedon (4YO F by Doyen), placed second to Glancing Glory on her debut P2P for Breandan Long at Boulta.
• Lot 37, Onagatheringstorm (5YO G by Imperial Monarch), winner of his most recent P2P for Sean Doyle at Borris House.

UK P2P graduates have had a positive start to the season with Eurobot, Energumene and Blackbow all impressive winners of beginners’ chases and the sale will offer eight UK pointers – six of which raced at the weekend’s Barbury and Alnwick meetings.

• Lot 3, He's A Knowall (5YO G by Oscar), the 15-length winner of his debut P2P for Philip Rowley at Barbury.
• Lot 9, The Wise Traveller (4YO G by Getaway), winner of his debut P2P for Jack Teal at Alnwick.
• Lot 13, For Fitz Sake (4YO G by Califet), the six-length winner of his debut P2P for Harriet Dickin at Alnwick.
• Lot 22, Salt Of The Earth (4YO G by El Salvador), winner of his most recent P2P for Alan Hill at Barbury.
• Lot 27, Fitz In (4YO G by Getaway), placed second to The Wise Traveller on his debut P2P for Harriet Dickin at Alnwick.
• Lot 30, Ingeborg Zilling (4YO F by Mahler), the five-length winner of her debut P2P for Tom Ellis at Barbury.

Young form horse Hamilton Dici (3YO G by Coastal Path) has also been catalogued as Lot 21 following his maiden win over hurdles on just his second start for Jane Williams at Warwick.

Printed catalogues will be available at Yorton and live online bidding will be available for the sale. Registrations for online bidding are now open and must be made 48 hours in advance of the sale by visiting www.goffsonline.com.
