Exciting Initial Entries for Goffs UK December P2P Sale at Yorton

A high-class line-up of 19 initial point-to-point & form horse entries have been published online for next Thursday’s Goffs UK December P2P Sale which will once again be held at the world-record breaking P2P venue, Yorton Farm, on Thursday 2 December. Further entries will be released on Monday following the weekend’s racing.

Goffs P2P Sales at Yorton launched last year with auctions in November and December and immediately made headlines with both sales achieving world-record P2P sale prices of £570,000. The success has not ended there as those two select sales have currently produced a hugely impressive 29 winners thus far already which are headed by the likes of the Gr.1 winner AHOY SENOR, rising star and Gr.3 winner MY MATE MOZZIE and horses such as Jonbon (pictured), Classic Getaway, Fable, Monbeg Genius, Harper's Brook, Fruit N Nut, Hamilton Dici, Bold Endeavour etc.

Next week’s sale will look to continue the fantastic start Goffs P2P Sales at Yorton have achieved with initial entries featuring high-class Irish and UK pointers and three form horses from owner Anthony Barney; Bold Endeavour, Wheres Maud Gone and Ubetya, all to be offered following the closing of Racecrowd Racing Club under which they are raced.

Initial form horse entries are:

  • Bold Endeavour (5YO G by Fame And Glory), unbeaten under rules from two starts for Laura Morgan, a bumper in May and his debut hurdle in November. • Ubetya (6YO G by Le Fou), a hurdle winner who has also placed on both his starts over fences for Laura Morgan. May run again prior to sale.
  • Noah's Light (4YO G by Leading Light), winner of his maiden hurdle on just his second start under rules for Declan Queally at Navan.

Goffs UK Managing Director Tim Kent commented:

“Goffs P2P Sales at Yorton have enjoyed an unbelievable start and the results achieved on the track over the last 12 months from just two sales are very impressive. To have 29 winners already including a Grand National Festival Grade 1 winner in Ahoy Senor and horses like My Mate Mozzie, Jonbon, Classic Getaway and Bold Endeavour to name but a few demonstrate this sale is in an exciting place.

“Yorton is now an established and proven sale venue which is well known to the NH world and we are looking forward to making a return next week following numerous requests from clients following the two P2P sales we held at the venue last year. We have another weekend of racing and pointing to come and Goffs will be taking further entries over the coming days which will be published on the Goffs UK website on Monday.”

The Goffs UK December P2P Sale at Yorton Farm in Wales will take place next Thursday 2 December. Live online bidding will be available and registrations can be made by visiting www.goffsonline.com. Catalogues will be available from Yorton from Wednesday 1 December from noon.
