Goffs Graduates Dominate Royal Ascot Day 4

Racing today at Royal Ascot saw Goffs graduates take centre stage with Doncaster Premier Sale graduates Golden Horde and The Lir Jet winning the Gr.1 Commonwealth Cup and Gr.2 Norfolk Stakes respectively and Goffs graduates completing a 1-2-3 in the Albany Stakes.

GOLDEN HORDE became the Doncaster Premier Yearling Sale’s second consecutive winner of the Commonwealth Cup with Advertise winning it last year. THE LIR JET also made it back-to-back victories for the sale in the Norfolk Stakes following A’Ali last year. In a remarkable record, Premier graduates have won four of the last seven editions of the time-honoured Norfolk Stakes.

DANDALLA gave a dazzling display in the Group 3 Albany Stakes with a powerful six length win by the November Foal Sale graduate.  She led a 1-2-3 for Goffs as fellow November Sale purchase Setarhe came home just ahead of Orby graduate Mother Earth in third.

ART POWER got the day off to a winning start in the opening Palace Of Holyroodhouse Handicap, looking a very high class sprinter as he justified favoritism to score by 3 1/2 lengths for King Power Racing.  The son of Dark Angel was sold by Owenstown Stud to SackvilleDonald at the Goffs Orby Sale.
