Goffs UK to Offer Grech & Parkin Dispersal at Spring & August Sales

The Grech & Parkin Partnership have chosen Goffs UK to hold a complete dispersal of their racing and breeding interests at the upcoming Doncaster Spring HIT/P2P Sale (22 – 23 May) and the Doncaster August Sale (6 – 7 August).

The Spring Sale dispersal draft will feature 24 horses-in-training, along with five unraced 3YOs, while the August Sale will feature seven 2YOs, a yearling and a mare. All lots will be offered without reserve and sold as they stand.

The Spring Sale draft features some big names who have been competitive at the Cheltenham and Aintree Festivals and include the Nicky Henderson trained MR WHIPPED, who beat Paisley Park when winning a Gr.2 Hurdle at Warwick this season, and fellow Gr.2 winners CLAIMANTAKINFORGAN, CONSTANTINE BAY and RIVER WYLDE.

Other horses to feature include the Paul Nicholls trained Kupatana, who has won four of her eleven starts to date including her most recent appearance over Fences where she won by 18-lengths. Young Hurdler Interconnected is another headline entry having placed a close second in a Novice Hurdle on his only start under rules to Emitom, who subsequently placed second in the Gr.1 Doom Bar Sefton Novices' Hurdle at the Grand National Festival.

Goffs Group Chief Executive, Henry Beeby said:

“The pink and black colours of the Grech & Parkin partnership horses have been a feature of the best NH meetings in recent times as their horses have competed at the top. Mike Grech and Stuart Parkin’s decision to disperse their entire operation offers a unique opportunity for NH buyers to take advantage of their focused approach to buying the best. Goffs UK are delighted to have been appointed to handle the Grech & Parkin Dispersal at the Doncaster Spring HIT/P2P and August Sales which are the ideal outlet for horses of this calibre.

“For as long as anyone can remember the Spring Sale has been THE end of season venue for the best and the Grech & Parkin Dispersal will sit alongside the likes of Million In Mind in appealing to the biggest group of NH buyers to assemble. We are extremely grateful to Mike and Stuart for placing their trust in the unique Goffs service and look forward to handling this important sale on their behalf.”
