Major Pedigree Updates for Premier Yearling Sale Entries

Next week’s Goffs UK Premier Sale at Doncaster will offer a top-class line up of 469 yearlings and racing throughout Europe since the catalogue’s release has delivered numerous pedigree updates.

Heading the list is Lot 319, a Mehmas half-brother to GOLDEN HORDE (pictured), who won Goodwood’s Gr.2 Qatar Richmond Stakes and then ran third in the Gr.1 Darley Prix Morny at Deauville over the weekend. The Prix Morny also produced an update for Lot 248, a colt by Equiano, whose dam is a close relation to the Gr.2 Queen Mary Stakes winner RAFFLE PRIZE who finished a neck second in the Group 1 race.

Black-type updates have also come for Lot 332, a Muhaarar half-sister to Al Raya, who placed third in the Listed Byerley Stud Stakes at Newbury last week and Lot 354, a Territories half-brother to MAJOR JUMBO, who won the Listed Queensferry Stakes on his last start at Chester.

The catalogue will also offer relations to several 2YOs who have won since the catalogue went to print including the five-and-a-half-length debut winner Last Opportunity (Lot 3 – half-brother by Buratino), He's A Keeper (Lot 112 – half-sister by Fast Company), unbeaten 2YO Knight Shield (Lot 162 – half-sister by Mehmas), Nina Bailarina (Lot 177 – half-sister by Shalaa), Autumnal (Lot 192 – half-brother by The Wow Signal), Mac McCarthy (Lot 390 – half-brother by Requinto), Morisco (Lot 422 – half-brother by Markaz), Balancing Act (Lot 455 – half-sister by Mehmas) etc.

The Goffs UK Premier Yearling Sale at Doncaster will start at 10am on Tuesday 27 & Wednesday 28 August and will be followed by the Silver Yearling Sale on 29 August.
