Pearl Secret Filly Tops September Yearling Session

The opening day of the Goffs UK September Sale at Doncaster featured its first yearling session which sold horses to buyers from throughout Europe.

Moved from its traditional Autumn Sale date in late October, today’s yearling session offered 92 lots and was topped by Lot 48, a filly by Pearl Secret, who was sold by Salcey Forest Stud to Paul Murphy for £20,000.

Tomorrow’s second and final day of the Doncaster September Sale will offer horses-in-training including the annual Gigginstown House Stud Dispersal which will feature 28 entries such as Graded winners ARKWRISHT, A TOI PHIL, BALL D'ARC, BLOW BY BLOW, MITCHOUKA, PRINCE OF SCARS, TOMBSTONE, VALSEUR LIDO etc. It will also offer sizable drafts from Shadwell and Paul & Clare Rooney as well as last start bumper winners and 11 supplementary entries.

Tomorrow’s horses-in-training session will commence at 10am and you can view the catalogue, and today’s results, by clicking here.
