Top Class 4YO Pointers Head Initial Goffs UK December P2P Sale Entries

Irish point-to-point meetings over the weekend produced some outstanding young horses which feature in the initial batch of entries for the new Goffs UK December P2P Sale at Yorton Farm Stud in Wales on Thursday 17 December.

The sale will follow the success of last month’s Goffs UK November P2P Sale at Yorton at which vendors and buyers universally praised facilities and the sale which produced a new world record P2P price of £570,000. Some of the initial entries for the December P2P Sale include: 

  • Classic Getaway (4YO G by Getaway), the impressive eight-length winner of his debut P2P for Donnchadh Doyle at Borris House on 29 November. Jockey Rob James commented he’s one of the best four year olds that he has ever ridden.
  • Midnight It Is (4YO G by Midnight Legend), unlucky when falling at the second last when holding a two-length lead on his debut P2P for Alan Ahern at Borris House on 29 November.
  • Ottoman Style (4YO G by Kayf Tara), the five-length winner of his debut P2P for Cormac Doyle at Borris House on 29 November.
  • Tango Tara (4YO G by Kayf Tara), winner of his debut P2P for James Doyle at Ballindenisk on 29 November.
  • Upping The Anti (4YO G by Valirann), placed second to Tango Tara on his debut P2P for Gearóid O'Loughlin at Ballindenisk on 29 November.

Entries will be published online later next week (week commencing 7 December). Live online bidding will be available for the sale and registrations for this service will open from Friday 11 December. 

To ensure the safety and well-being of all attendees, Goffs will follow all Government COVID-19 directives in place at the time of the sale. Entry to the sale will be limited to those who wish to take part in the auction and those planning to attend must pre-register and complete the online COVID-19 medical form on the Goffs UK website which will open next week.
