Trevor Hemmings Dispersal to be Offered at Doncaster September HIT Sale

Triple Grand National winning owner Trever Hemmings, one of National Hunt racing’s most famous owners, is reducing his string of horses in training and will hold a dispersal of 56 horses at the Goffs UK September HIT Sale at Doncaster on 15 – 16 September.

Hemmings’ iconic colours have become synonymous with the world’s most famous steeple chase, the Grand National, with three winners: Hedgehunter in 2005, Ballabriggs in 2011 and Many Clouds in 2015. Other big names include Gr.1 Ryanair Chase winner Albertas Run, Gr.1 RSA Chase winner Trabolgan and more recently Graded winners such as Cloudy Dream, Katachenko, Lake View Lad, Testify, Vicente, Vintage Clouds etc.

All horses will be sold without reserve at the Doncaster September HIT Sale and feature some highly talented performers such as this season’s Gr.3 hurdle winner Stoney Mountain, Gr.2 hurdle and triple chase winner Mount Mews, winning chasers Burbank, Burtons Well, Hill Sixteen, Mystical Clouds, Touch Kick, numerous promising young hurdlers and unraced stock by sires including Black Sam Bellamy, Cloudings, Fame And Glory and Scorpion.

Goffs UK Managing Director Tim Kent commented:

“We are grateful that Mr Hemmings has chosen Goffs UK to offer his dispersal and it will be a big boost to our September Sale. His emerald green and yellow quartered silks have been carried to many famous victories over the years and this dispersal will give others the chance to continue that success with some high-class racing prospects to be offered.”

The Doncaster September HIT Sale will be held at Doncaster on 15 – 16 September and the catalogue will be released online on Tuesday 1 September. NH stores and horses in training entries for the sale are due now and can be made online at
