The hugely exciting Limato (pictured) took his unbeaten record to five at Ascot today with a dominant victory in the Group 3 Merriebelle Stable Pavilion Stakes.
Trainer Henry Candy spoke very highly of the son of Tagula last year, stating the horse was up there with the best he had trained. Given Candy's success as a trainer, that puts Limato in esteemed company and his win today, where he easily beat some talented rivals, shows he is a hugely exciting prospect. The three-year-old is being aimed at the Group 1 Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot in June.
Limato was sold to Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock from Weylands Stud at the 2013 DBS Premier Yearling Sales for £41,000. View his .
