Winning Irish Pointers Feature in Autumn Sale Supplementary Entries

The first batch of supplementary entries for next week’s Goffs UK Autumn HIT Sale at Doncaster are now online and feature winning four and five-year-old pointers and horses in training. Further entries will be announced next week.

To be held next Thursday from 10am, the Doncaster Autumn HIT Sale has catalogued 166 horses in training and supplementary entries will remain open up to the time of the sale. Recent point-to-point meetings in Ireland have produced many of the 21 supplementary entries thus far and they include:

  • 79, Annual Invictus (5YO G by Mahler), winner of his most recent P2P start for Cormac Doyle at Toomebridge on 5 October.
  • 80, Gale At Sea (4YO F by Milan), the six-length winner of her debut P2P for Denis Murphy at Toomebridge on 5 October.
  • 81, Do Your Job (5YO G by Fame And Glory), the five-length winner of his debut P2P for Colin Bowe at Castletown on 6 October.
  • 82, Minella Beauty (4YO G by Shirocco), placed second to Annual Invictus on his most recent P2P for John Nallen at Toomebridge on 5 October.
  • 83, Pennyforapound (5YO G by Winged Love), unbeaten in two P2P starts for Colin Bowe, his most recent by six-lengths at Castletown on 6 October.
  • 84, Yes Des Taillons (5YO G by Gris De Gris), the five-length winner of his most recent P2P for Denis Murphy at Toomebridge on 5 October.
  • 85, Sani Pass (5YO F by Robin Des Pres), placed second on her debut P2P for Michael Flannery at Castletown on 6 October.
  • 86, Classic Lady (4YO F by Flemensfirth), placed third on her debut P2P behind Gale At Sea for Cormac Doyle at Toomebridge on 5 October.

Supplementary entries also include Buzz and Maid In Manhattan, two flat horses who loom as high-class National Hunt prospects. Buzz, a 5YO gelding by Motivator, has won four flat races for Hughie Morrison, with his best form coming on soft ground, and is being sold to dissolve a partnership due to the owners wanting to focus on flat racing. Maid In Manhattan, a 5YO filly by Fame And Glory, has won six flat starts for Rebecca Menzies including her most recent, a 1m6f Class 3 handicap at Nottingham on 9 October.

Also catalogued are winners Behind The Curtain, Cenotice, Fortunes Hiding, Kripke, Pearl Swan who is also Gr.2 placed, Reckless Behavior, You’re The Man as well as Mahzarinan unraced 2YO by Golden Horn from the family of Harzand, etc.
