P2P.ie review: Sani Pass made her debut at Castletown-Geoghegan on the opening weekend of the season, when there were a good deal of encouraging signs, only succumbing to vastly more experienced second season performer in For Rita. Novice ridden on this first outing, the daughter of Robin Des Pres was certainly an eye-catcher for the rapid progress that she made on the climb to the second-last fence to come from off the pace into a challenging position. Only beaten a length and a half at the line, she finished as first of the newcomers, with the third and fourth offering a great deal of previous form having come into the race with four placed efforts between them.
