P2P.ie Review: Queens River comes from a yard that has built up a notable reputation for producing smart mares and this looks to be another of them after she made a winning debut under a confident Derek O’Connor. Always at the head of affairs and able to dictate the tempo, she began to stamp her authority on the race in between the final two fences when extending on without seemingly having to be asked a serious question. Given the testing underfoot conditions, it was particularly notable just how easily she was then able to pick up in a matter of strides after to the last to really put the race to bed and win on Sunday by three and a half lengths. She still seemed to have a good deal in the tank crossing the line and is certainly one to look forward to.
