Vendor Information for Goffs Online March Sale

All horses are Sold with a Veterinary Certificate (subject to post-sale re-examination). If required by the Purchaser, the Lot shall be subject to a re-examination by 5.00pm on the second calendar day following the Sale, specifically for a clinical examination only and wind testing. SUPPLYING OF LOT DOCUMENTATION & MEDIA

On Wednesday 10 March (14 days from the sale), the Goffs UK website will open for lot document uploads and media uploads from vendors. Inside your website account, each confirmed entry will list what documents you need to provide and a dedicated upload facility for each one which will load your documents for Goffs to approve. Below lists what you will need to provide to Goffs. 

Young Stock, Stores & Horses-in-Training: 

  • Passport
  • Flu Vaccinations
  • Health Declaration - dated within 14 days of Sale & provided by the vendor’s veterinary surgeon. If required, you can use the Goffs UK form here or supply a declaration on the vet practice headed paper. 
  • Veterinary Certificate – dated within 14 days of Sale & provided by the vendor’s veterinary surgeon. Full five-stage vetting required. Download: Vet Certificate form | Guidence notes
  • Optional if a filly/mare - Breeding Certificate - dated within 14 days of Sale & provided by the vendor’s veterinary surgeon. Download: Breeding Certificate

Breeding Stock: 

  • Passport

  • Covering Certificate (if covered) – please provide to Goffs if the form has not been supplied to Weatherbys.
  • Breeding Certificate (if not covered or barren) - dated within 14 days of Sale & provided by the vendor’s veterinary surgeon. Download: Breeding Certificate
  • EVA Certificate - dated within 30 days of Sale & provided by the vendor’s veterinary surgeon.
  • CEM Certificate stating negative clitoral swab (fossa and sinuses) - dated within 30 days of sale & provided by the vendor’s veterinary surgeon.

Sale Information:

The Goffs Online March Sale will largely be focused on horses-in-training but will also be open to breeding stock. Last month’s timed January Sale proved the platform’s ability to provide a strong marketplace for HIT and produced the three highest prices achieved by any online sale in the UK and Ireland in 2021: £300,000 for the debut bumper winner Hollymount, £170,000 for the dual Grade 1 winner La Bague Au Roi and £125,000 for the well-related mare Buck's Bee.

  • Sale to mirror the timed format of last month’s January Sale.
  • The catalogue will be released online on Friday 12 March (there will be no printed catalogue).
  • The sale will be conducted in pounds sterling.
