November P2P Sale 2020 (at Yorton)

12 November

Lot 70 - Dangan des Champs (IRE)

Purchaser: Not Sold (44000).

P2P.ie Review: Dangan Des Champs made a winning return to action when she opened her account in a big field Dromahane maiden in mid-October. Clearly expected to go well on her debut when sixth at the same venue last Christmas having been sent off at the top of the market, the daughter of Robin Des Champs, who is a sibling of another point victor in Heydour, encountered significantly different conditions on her return, proving to be very effective on Good ground to win by three lengths. Moving closer to launch her bid entering the home straight despite the dramas encountered when bypassing the third-last fence, she went on from the next and was always comfortably holding the previously placed hurdler As High Say, as the pair pulled clear of their rivals.

The mare placed 2nd, As High Say (IRE), has since won a 5yo Mares Maiden Point-to-Point by 3 lenghts.

The mare in 4th, Melanamix (IRE), was placed 2nd behind As High Say, and has subsequently won on her latest start at Clonmoyle.
