P2P.ie Review: Grandads Cottage got off the mark at the first time of asking when taking the second division of the four-year-old maiden at Portrush on his debut in the hands of Rob James. The son of Shantou caught the eye travelling and jumping with ease in a prominent position throughout, before cruising into the lead turning for home. The good-looking chesnut picked up smartly from the penultimate obstacle, galloping on resolutely to win in comprehensive fashion. In a race which clocked the fastest time of the day, this was a very taking performance from a four-year-old who should prove a decent sort for new connections.
